Meet the Team at Goldin Lemcke

Simon Goldin : Having come from a family of Estate Agents that have worked in the Brighton and Hove area for the past 60 years, it was a business Simon was destined to go into. He started his career in Estate Agency in 1983 as a Saturday Assistant for a large corporate firm of estate agents in Brighton. At the age of 20 he was made the youngest Manager of their Head Office. Then, after 20 years with the same company, he felt that the personal friendly service had been compromised and decided to join forces with his partner and open their own company where they could offer the level of service that they wanted to provide – hence Goldin Lemcke Estate Agents was formed.

Simon is living in Hove and is married with two children.

Simon Lemcke MNAEA : Born in Brighton having lived within Brighton and Hove all his life. Simon started his career in Estate Agency in 1985 for a large corporate organisation. He remained with the same company for seventeen years. During that time he managed several offices in the Brighton and Mid Sussex, being promoted to an Area Director in 2001.

In 2002, along with Simon Goldin, he made the decision to realise a dream of setting up his own business and return to a more traditional way of operating an Estate Agency, concentrating purely on Residential Estate Agency.

Peter Hayler : Since leaving school Peter has mainly worked for large corporate estate agents, progressing to Branch Manager and gaining extensive knowledge of property in Brighton and Hove. Peter had a dream to work abroad so decided to set up an estate agents in the Canary Islands. This was very successful but he became very home sick and decided to return to Hove. In 2008 he was offered the opportunity to join Goldin Lemcke, bringing his wealth of knowledge and experience to already successful team.

Kimberley Foulkes : Having commuted to London to work for a firm of international property advisors for two years, Kimberley decided to relocate her work experience to Brighton and Hove. Here she gained in excess of 8 years experience in the industry. Throughout this time she has covered all aspects of Estate Agency. She has gained extensive local knowledge from having lived in Hove for over 20 years and has two children, therefore developing a working knowledge of nurseries, schools, clubs and local amenities.

Goldin Lemcke offered Kimberley the opportunity to work with a company that provide a personal, professional level of customer service and she has worked with them now in both a sales and admin capacity for several years.

Matt Harper : Matt is married and has lived in Brighton and Hove for most of his life. Matt has worked in corporate agency at Manager level. He has also worked for a large independent estate agency gaining vast experience in the property market. Matt welcomed the opportunity to join Goldin Lemcke and brings his wealth of experience and local knowledge to the already customer focused team.

Jimmy Afshar : Having lived in Brighton since the age of 3 Jimmy has loved the vibrancy of the area and has vast local knowledge of Brighton and Hove. He has worked in estate agencies across Brighton and Hove in the last 12 years progressing to the position of Branch Manager. Jimmy decided to join Goldin Lemcke as they have the strongest reputation as being the best Estate Agents in Brighton and Hove.

Tom Blencowe : Tom began his career in estate agency in 2006 in West Oxfordshire, working for an independent very similar to Goldin Lemcke, openly opposed to the stereotypical ways of corporate agency. Here he realised residential sales was where his passion lay, and spent the following two years progressing his knowledge of the market. A spontaneous decision spurred Tom to move to Hove in May of 2010 where he was offered the opportunity to join the pro-active and enthusiastic team at Goldin Lemcke and is now developing his career and local knowledge.
